Imagine being Joseph and Mary, and elite men come to the home where you are staying and they worship your new son,

And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh (Matthew 2.11).

What did Joseph and Mary as poor parents think of the gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh? What did they do with the gifts? What would you do? What would you have thought as you watched these men worship your baby?
