Abraham so feared for his life when he entered the kingdom of Abimelech, that the patriarch conspired with his wife to say that they were siblings. This way Abimelech would not kill Abraham to get his beautiful wife. However, after all of that was over, the Bible says,

So Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants. Then they bore children; for the Lord had closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham’s wife (Genesis 20.17–18).

Abraham feared losing his life at this man’s hands, but then the Lord had Abraham pray for the king. Amazing how things work out!
