How often do we hear that love makes sinful acts perfectly acceptable? People do not state it that way, but that is what they mean. Notice this incident from the Book of Genesis,
Now Dinah the daughter of Leah, whom she had borne to Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land. And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her and lay with her, and violated her. His soul was strongly attracted to Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the young woman and spoke kindly to the young woman (Genesis 34.1–3).
I have always understood that Shechem raped Dinah, although I suppose someone could say that the text does not literally say that, meaning that she consented, nevertheless, whether by consent or by rape, his love for her did not make his action right.
Love reigns supreme in the Bible, but it does not free us to sin.
