God, the landowner

Jesus told a parable in which we know that the landowner represents God the Father,

“Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country” (Matthew 21.33).

God owns the land. God plants the vineyard. God sets the hedge around it. God digs the winepress. God builds the tower. God leases it to others to make something good with the vineyard. He leaves, obviously expecting the vinedressers to be productive, and to remember that it was all His.

Everything we own, has come down from the Father. Are we using our things, and our time productively for Him?
