What do you believe about Jesus?

If Jesus stood before you, would it matter to you what He had to say? His words meant nothing to the Jewish leaders and to the Roman leaders. Watch Him before Pilate,

Now Jesus stood before the governor. And the governor asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” Jesus said to him, “It is as you say.” And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He answered nothing. Then Pilate said to Him, “Do You not hear how many things they testify against You?” But He answered him not one word, so that the governor marveled greatly (Matthew 27.11–14).

Why did Jesus say, “It is as you say”, and why did He remain silent after saying those few words? He told them, Whatever you say, meaning that whatever I say will mean nothing to you, and then He remained silent for the same reason.

Would you listen to Jesus, if He stood before you? Do you listen to Him now in the Scriptures?
