Jesus saw what was happening. As He healed people, the word spread and many people started going to Him, and naturally, they wanted to get as close to Him as possible,

So He told His disciples that a small boat should be kept ready for Him because of the multitude, lest they should crush Him. For He healed many, so that as many as had afflictions pressed about Him to touch Him (Mark 3.9–10).

People pushed their way to Jesus just to touch Him. Would you not have done the same thing, if you had been there, or if Jesus came to your town? I would want to touch Him, that He might heal me of all my health problems.

However, reaching Jesus in the spirit counts far more, because He wants to heal our spirits, forgiving our sin that ruins us on the inside.
