We see the family of Jesus as special, yet, the Bible shows that they had to seek Him, even as we do,

And a multitude was sitting around Him; and they said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are outside seeking You” (Mark 3.32).

Evidently, even His own family could not get past the crowds to see Him. Therefore, the word had to be passed to the front, that His mother and brothers were outside, seeking Him.

What they had to do in the flesh, they also had to do in the spirit, just as we have to do. They may have been His family, but He was and still is, the Lord of heaven and Earth.
