Before the Lord would send the Roman armies against the city of Jerusalem, He warned that the apostles would endure persecution,

“But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them” (Mark 13.9).

Likewise, for today, the more our culture becomes secularistic and friendly to atheism, evolution, and the homosexual movement, the more likely that the church shall suffer persecution. Are you prepared for it?
