Luke summarizes the beginning of the ministry of Jesus of Nazareth, in such a way that it is hard for us to comprehend, that eventually people would turn against Him,

Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all (Luke 4.14–15).

The popularity of Jesus grew, and when people heard Him teach, they glorified Him. He worked in the power of the Spirit, therefore, Jesus spoke words in such a way that people had never heard before.
