Many Christians cry out to the Lord immediately when they are overwhelmed by some great power, but when it comes to the smaller issues of life, they act as though they operate on their own. Samson did not think that way. He believed the Lord worked in the smaller issues of life even as He does in the greater issues life,
Then he became very thirsty; so he cried out to the Lord and said, “You have given this great deliverance by the hand of Your servant; and now shall I die of thirst and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?” So God split the hollow place that is in Lehi, and water came out, and he drank; and his spirit returned, and he revived. Therefore he called its name En Hakkore, which is in Lehi to this day (Judges 15.18–19).
The Lord saved Samson when he fought a thousand men, but the Lord also helped Samson when he needed a drink of water.
Do you see the Lord the same way?
