Everyone is doing it; therefore, it seems to be right in the eyes of everyone else. However, is that always true? No, for some reason a large following begins, and others join it because everyone is part of it. Note what Luke said,

Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them… (Luke 14.25).

Jesus then spoke a hard truth, showing that following Him surpasses everything and everyone else in life. Do not follow Him because everyone is following Him, but follow Him, because you want to go wherever He goes that you might end up where He is!
