As Jesus set up a memorial by which He wanted His disciples to remember Him, He also explained when we would eat it with Him. Speaking of the cup, a part of the memorial, Luke wrote this,

Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves; for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes” (Luke 22.17–18).

We drink of that cup now when we participate in the Lord’s Supper. Therefore, the kingdom must have already arrived. We eat the Lord’s Supper while in the kingdom now.
