05.08.2014 New Testament: John 1.43–45
To read the Bible in a year, read John 1.29–51 on May 8, In the year of our Lord 2014
By Don Ruhl
Jesus told Philip to follow Him, and when Philip realized whom he was to follow, watch what he did,
The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, “Follow Me.” Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph” (John 1.43–45).
Discovering Jesus is such a find that a follower of Jesus wants others to know about it and to follow Him. Do you not think that way? Discovering Jesus thrills your soul, and now you want others to be what you are and to do what you do. Do not let that excitement die down.
