When you read of the wilderness wanderings and see that the Israelites ate bread daily that fell from heaven, do you get the idea that Moses gave them the bread? I do not think that anyone would believe Moses gave Israel bread, but that God in heaven rained it down. Logically, Jesus said of that phenomenon,
Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world” (John 6.32–33).
If the Father gave Israel their bread, then the Father can also give His Son for the life of the world. Does that make sense to you?
