Jesus served as God

If earthly judges served as gods, making life and death decisions for people, then Jesus certainly served as the Son of God,

Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’? If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?” (John 10.34–36).

The passage to which Jesus referred considered judges of the Earth as gods because they exercised power over people, which is the definition of a god.

Therefore, Jesus did not blaspheme when He referred to Himself as the Son of God, for He is that in truth, and He exercises great power, and will judge all mankind at the Day of Judgment.
