What do you do in life? Where do you live? Who are the people with whom you interact? Have you considered that the Lord chose you specifically to carry out certain things, knowing of your capabilities? David told his son Solomon,
“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it” (1 Chronicles 28.9–10).
Focus on knowing God and serving Him with a loyal heart and a willing mind, because He has searched your heart, and He has understood the very intentions of your thoughts. Then, just like Solomon, the Lord has put you in your life circumstance to fulfill His will. Therefore, seek Him and give your best effort to do good things wherever you find yourself.
