Reigning with power and wealth

When Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over Israel, his power and wealth multiplied. Consider the passage below as it tells of his power power and wealth, and then look at a map and see how just small Israel was,

So Solomon came to Jerusalem from the high place that was at Gibeon, from before the tabernacle of meeting, and reigned over Israel…he had one thousand four hundred chariots and twelve thousand horsemen…Also the king made silver and gold as common in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedars as abundant as the sycamores which are in the lowland… (2 Chronicles 1.13–17). 

The size of the land does not matter to the Lord, as long as the size of heart of His follower is large, then the Lord can multiply that person’s strength mightily.
