Let the world hate us, but if Jesus loves us, and we abide in His love, then we have all that we need. If you want to abide in the love of Christ, listen to what He said,

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love” (John 15.9–10).

Jesus kept the commandments of the Father and for that Jesus abode in the love of the Father. Likewise, Jesus told the disciples that if they kept His commandments, they would abide in His love, and He would love them to the same degree that the Father loved Jesus.

Yes, there is a part of God’s love that is unconditional, but as Jesus taught here, there is a part of God’s love that is conditional. We have to keep the commandments of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to abide in His love.
