If you stay with God, He will stay with you through all your troubles regardless of how bad they get. We know this because of what we see in the Bible and what we have seen in many people’s lives. For example, although Joseph’s brothers sold him into Egypt, the Holy Spirit says that God was with him,

“and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house” (Acts 7.10). 

You may not become a ruler, but the God of heaven will see you through your struggles and make you a better person for it. Just remember to remain loyal to Him as Joseph remained loyal to God through every trial and temptation of life.
