The two major forces of the heavenlies wage war over possession of your soul. It is God versus Satan. Who shall win? Satan wanted to harm Job that he might curse God, and then Satan would have won possession of Job. However, God knew that Job would not curse Him. Therefore, the God of heaven gave all that Job had into Satan’s hand,

And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord (Job 1.12). 

Who would win the war over Job depended upon Job. Would he curse God or continue to fear God? The rest of the story shows what happened.

Satan also wants you, and so does the Lord God. Who shall win in your case? Will you curse God or will you continue to fear Him?
