When Saul of Tarsus sought to attach himself to the church in Jerusalem, they all feared him, but then Barnabas spoke up for Saul, and the church changed toward Saul, so much so that when the church discovered a conspiracy to kill him, look they did,
When the brethren found out, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him out to Tarsus (Acts 9.30).
First, they feared for their lives, then they feared for his life. Amazing! However, it was his changed life that changed their opinion of him.
So then, have you changed enough that people now favor you rather than fear you?
