Living in a daze

Acts Wide

07.04.2014 New Testament: Acts 12.7–9

To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 12 on July 4, In the year of our Lord 2014

By Don Ruhl

Herod put Peter in prison, but an angel visited him and released him from the prison, although Peter did not realize what was happening,

Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands. Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.” So he went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision (Acts 12.7–9).

The Lord worked in Peter’s life and he did not even realize it. Have you known of people just like that? The Lord works in their lives, but they do not even realize it. How about you? Are you aware that the Lord works in your life?
