Do you love the Lord? If so, have you told Him? You know that David loved the Lord, and the Lord knew because David showed it and said it, as he did at the beginning of Psalm 18,

I will love You, O Lord, my strength. 
(Psalm 18.1) 

Tell the Lord that you love Him, and tell Him why you love Him, but do not immediately turn around and ask for something. Save that for a later prayer.
