07.18.2014 New Testament: Acts 20.25
To read the Bible in a year, read Acts 20.17–38 on July 18, In the year of our Lord 2014
By Don Ruhl
Paul told the Ephesian elders something that was not easy for him to say, nor was it easy for them to hear,
“And indeed, now I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more” (Acts 20.25).
The narration tells us later that the elders were broken up over hearing that they would never see Paul again, yet, is it not true that at some point in time, we will see people for the last time on the Earth? If today was the last time that you would see members of the body of Christ, how would you be around them?
