07.22.2014 Old Testament: Psa 37.0–2

To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 36–37 on July 22, In the year of our Lord 2014

By Don Ruhl

We watch the wicked, and they seem to have the run of the place, although they disregard the Lord, whereas, we think of the Lord and our influence seems to have vanished. The Lord knows that such frustrates us, but listen to what He taught us through the pen of David,

A Psalm of David.
Do not fret because of evildoers,
Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass,
And wither as the green herb.
(Psalm 37.0–2)

We fret when we see them doing well, and we contemplate whether we should be just like them, but the Holy Spirit says do not fret because of the wicked. Why did the Holy Spirit teach us not to fret? Shortly, you will see the wicked cut down. We do not know the exact time, but just look at history. What has happened to all the wicked?
