07.29.2014 Old Testament: Psa 56.12–13
To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 56–58 on July 29, In the year of our Lord 2014
By Don Ruhl
Have you made a promise to God? Have you kept that promise? Do you want to know why God exalted David? He kept his promises to God, as seen in Psalm 56,
Vows made to You are binding upon me, O God;
I will render praises to You,
For You have delivered my soul from death.
Have You not kept my feet from falling,
That I may walk before God
In the light of the living?
(Psalm 56.12–13)
Did you make a promise to God? What prompted it? Was it danger? Yet, here you are today. You made it out of the danger, because God heard you. Now praise Him by keeping your promise, remembering what He has done and continues to do for you.
