07.30.2014 Old Testament: Psa 59.14–15

To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 59–61 on July 30, In the year of our Lord 2014

By Don Ruhl

David pictured the wicked in vivid ways, painting them as growling dogs, looking for someone to devour,

And at evening they return,
They growl like a dog,
And go all around the city.
They wander up and down for food,
And howl if they are not satisfied.
(Psalm 59.14–15)

What do you do when you have people or situations coming after you like a growling dog? Do what David did. He spoke of the matter to the Lord, and the Lord heard David’s prayer.
