If we love one another, we will have fulfilled the Law, for the Law taught love for God and love for our neighbor, as Paul demonstrated, quoting mostly from the Ten Commandments,
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law (Romans 13.9–10).
Any commandment that you can find in the Scriptures, either Testament, you can fit into one of two categories: Love for God or love for your neighbor.
Therefore, if you focus on love for your neighbor, you will not wrong your neighbor, even if you cannot remember all the commandments, because love will prevent you from doing harm and will lead you into doing the right thing.
