08.18.2014 Old Testament: Psa 109.30–31
To read the Bible in a year, read Psalms 109–111 on August 18, In the year of our Lord 2014
By Don Ruhl
As you read Psalm 109, you will discover that this psalm speaks much about the Messiah and His betrayer, but that the Messiah knew of God’s deliverance. Therefore, the psalm ended with these magnificent words of promise,
I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth;
Yes, I will praise Him among the multitude.
For He shall stand at the right hand of the poor,
To save him from those who condemn him.
(Psalm 109.30–31)
People condemn you, but the Lord shall stand at your right hand, because He is your strength, and He will stay with you through your time of adversity.
