While you and I share traits as humans, we are distinct enough that no one would mistake us for the other. However, why are we different? Listen to what Paul told the Corinthian Church,
For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it? (1 Corinthians 4.7).
Who makes us differ from one another? God does. What do we have that we did not receive? Nothing, because God gave us everything. Why then should I boast that I am better than you, or why should you boast that you are better than me? Should we not give God the glory?
