Preachers have schedules too

To read the Bible in a year, read First Corinthians 16 on September 8, In the year of our Lord 2014

Some people expect preachers to jump the moment people snap for them, as though preachers do not have lives of their own. Listen to what Paul said of Apollos,

Now concerning our brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brethren, but he was quite unwilling to come at this time; however, he will come when he has a convenient time (1 Corinthians 16.12).

Apollos had something else that he needed or wanted to do, and it just was not convenient for him at that time. He would go to them, but just not then. They had to wait. Paul had to wait.

Are you busy? So are preachers. Do you have things you need to do and want to do? So do preachers. He is not your personal servant.
