Should you seek to make yourself rich or poor? Solomon, a very rich man in material things, and in things of the spirit, said,

There is one who makes himself rich, yet has nothing;
And one who makes himself poor, yet has great riches.
(Proverbs 13.7) 

The rich can be poor, and the poor can be rich, and often neither one knows it! The rich by focusing on riches, truly have nothing that makes life, but the poor who concentrate what on makes life, have it.
