Life is not about being rich or poor, it is about being a person of integrity or being perverse. What matters, therefore, is not what we are on the outside, but what we are on the inside,

Better is the poor who walks in his integrity
Than one perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
(Proverbs 28.6) 

Are you poor, but do you live with integrity? If so, do not worry about poverty, for your integrity will carry you through life.

Are you rich, but perverse? If so, fear, for you will have to answer to God for your perverse ways!
