Some people boast of what they are, or of what they have done, but it does not accomplish anything, because someone else can always outdo you. In response to others who boasted, Paul showed what he could have boasted about,

Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? So am I (2 Corinthians 11.22). 

Yet, what does the flesh matter to God? What does the flesh matter for eternity? What matters is what we are in the sight of God.
