What do you think of the preaching and teaching of Paul? Be careful, because your answer will reveal what you think of much of New Testament doctrine. Listen to Paul speak by the Spirit,

But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ (Galatians 1.11–12). 

Paul then went on to show that he had tried everything within his power to destroy the church, hence her message, but then Jesus found him and changed his life, preaching what he once persecuted.

Therefore, he did not originate the Gospel, but it came from God Himself and the Lord Jesus Christ, who revealed it all to the apostle.
