10.26.2014 New Testament: 1Ti 6.13–14
To read the Bible in a year, read First Timothy 6 on October 26, In the year of our Lord 2014
By Don Ruhl
Paul urged Timothy to flee the love of money and to pursue righteousness, and to fight the good fight of the faith. The apostle continued,
I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing… (1 Timothy 6.13–14).
We do not know when Jesus shall return, but we do know that He is returning. Since we do not know the time, we should observe the commandment spotlessly and blamelessly. Oh God, in Jesus name, help us to fulfill the commandment.
