The Lord makes the Holy Spirit available to us (Luke 11.13), to help us, and one thing He can do, Paul revealed to Timothy,

That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us (2 Timothy 1.14). 

We are not alone, but we have the help of heaven. The Lord helps us. Angels help us. The Holy Spirit helps us. Therefore, let your mind be in the Spirit at all times, for the flesh battles against us relentlessly, and so we need to walk by the Spirit that we might bear the fruit of the Spirit, and that we might keep what has been committed to us.
