10.30.2014 New Testament: 2Ti 4.9–12
To read the Bible in a year, read Second Timothy 4 on October 30, In the year of our Lord 2014

Yes, Paul had the Lord, but the apostle also wanted with him, his son in the Gospel. We all have the Lord, but we also need our friends, and the Lord knows that, which is why He let the following words of Paul appear in Holy Scripture,
Be diligent to come to me quickly; for Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed for Thessalonica—Crescens for Galatia, Titus for Dalmatia. Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry. And Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus (2 Timothy 4.9–12).
Let us all determine to be like Timothy. That we so devote ourselves to our friends in the church, that they need us, and then we show up for them.
