Ezekiel saw a vision of the Lord when the four living creatures ushered him to the prophet’s presence. Having seen such a magnificent sight, the prophet fell on his face,

And He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you.” Then the Spirit entered me when He spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard Him who spoke to me (Ezekiel 2.1–2). 

Ezekiel humbled himself in the presence of the Lord, and the Lord exalted the prophet. He was then ready to hear whatever the Lord had to say. What does that tell you that you need to do to hear the word of the Lord?
