11.13.2014 Old Testament: Eze 5.1–4
To read the Bible in a year, read Ezekiel 4–6 on November 13, In the year of our Lord 2014

Paul said that we should offer our bodies as living sacrifices to the Lord, and if we do that, we can expect that He will use our bodies. Consider one of the usual ways that He used Ezekiel’s body,
“And you, son of man, take a sharp sword, take it as a barber’s razor, and pass it over your head and your beard; then take scales to weigh and divide the hair…” (Ezekiel 5.1–4).
The Lord then had the prophet do several different things with his hair, all as symbols of what the Lord would do to His people for their sin.
The Lord is the Master. We are His servants. Therefore, if we offer ourselves to Him, He will use us. Be prepared for any use, including something that you might think is odd, but submit anyway.
