11.16.2014 New Testament: Heb 11.27–29
To read the Bible in a year, read Hebrews 11.20–40 on November 16, In the year of our Lord 2014

As you read Hebrews 11, you will discover that the man or woman of faith does not sit idly. Now sometimes that is truly all that we can do. However, we also have plenty that we can do, and if we have faith, it will show in the activity of our lives, even as it did in the lives of Moses and Israel,
By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them. By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned (Hebrews 11.27–29).
By faith Moses saw the invisible God. By faith Moses and Israel kept the Passover, although they had never seen a destroyer before. By faith Moses and Israel passed through the Red Sea, although they had never seen a body of water part before.
If the Lord said something, faith knows it to be true. Therefore, the person of faith moves on and does whatever the Lord wants done.
