11.22.2014 Old Testament: Eze 28.17–19
To read the Bible in a year, read Ezekiel 27–28 on November 22, In the year of our Lord 2014
By Don Ruhl
The Lord gave the king of Tyre great beauty, but because he used it for sinful purposes, the Lord took the beauty away and gave him ashes instead,
“Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty;
You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor;
I cast you to the ground,
I laid you before kings,
That they might gaze at you.
You defiled your sanctuaries
By the multitude of your iniquities,
By the iniquity of your trading;
Therefore I brought fire from your midst;
It devoured you,
And I turned you to ashes upon the earth
In the sight of all who saw you.
All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you;
You have become a horror,
And shall be no more forever.”
(Ezekiel 28.17–19)
I do not advise you to take what God has given you and using it for sinful things. No, use them for His glory and He shall glorify you.
