God wants to do something wonderful for you, but He wants to see something from you first,

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1.9). 

The Father wants to forgive you and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. What He wants to see, or rather hear from us first, is that we confess our sins. Is that so difficult? Why do we hesitate to do it?
