Most everyone knows the story of the wise men coming from the East to worship Jesus, and that Herod asked them to report back to him that he might, allegedly, worship Jesus also. Then the story of the wise men ends abruptly,

Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way (Matthew 2.12). 

As far as I know, we never hear another word about these men. Perhaps we will learn in heaven what happened to them, I really do not know. However, the Holy Spirit decided that we did not need to hear any more about them, and moved on to tell the story of the One the wise men worshiped.
