People just do not understand the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, they fight against it with all their might, even resorting to violence, as Jesus said,

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matthew 11.12). 

Thus far, every effort against the kingdom of heaven has failed, and they shall all fail, and all those who fight against the kingdom shall themselves fail. Do not fight the kingdom, and do not try to take it by force, but become subjects of the kingdom of heaven.
