01.25.2015 New Testament: Matt 18.15–17
To read the Bible in a year, read Matthew 18.1–20 on January 25, In the year of our Lord 2015
By Don Ruhl
Conflict happens between the family members of Christ’s family, but unfortunately few people practice what He said to do to solve the problem,
“Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector” (Matthew 18.15–17).
If your brother offends you, go talk to him in gentleness, and you might discover that the problem resolves itself quicker and easier than you had thought that it would.
