Missionary work can go wrong

Great is missionary work, unless you convert people to something other than a disciple of Christ. As Christ Himself said to the Pharisees,

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves” (Matthew 23.15).

Traveling land and sea to convert just one person is great, but in this case, the scribes and Pharisees only converted such a proselyte to themselves and into their soul-damning doctrines.

Be sure that you teach the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth as the Holy Spirit revealed it in the Bible.
