Many are the people who have attempted to predict the time of the end, but we cannot know the time, regardless of how fancy the calculations of a man or woman might be who try to tell us that they know the time. As Jesus Himself said about the passing away of the heavens and the Earth,

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only” (Matthew 24.36). 

If the time could be known, surely the angels of heaven would be able to figure out that time, but Jesus said that even the angels of heaven, those who are right around the throne serving God directly, cannot know the time.

Why then does any man think that he can know?
