02.28.2015 New Testament: Mark 8.13–14
To read the Bible in a year, read Mark 8.1–21 on February 28, In the year of our Lord 2015
By Don Ruhl
Forgetting reminds us that we are human, that we have been created and so our minds cannot remember everything forever, whereas, our Creator forgets nothing, unless He chooses to forget. Even the young apostles forgot things,
And He left them, and getting into the boat again, departed to the other side. Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, and they did not have more than one loaf with them in the boat (Mark 8.13–14).
Remembering food is something that we do easily, yet, sometimes we get caught up in what we are doing, and we forget important things, whether it is to eat, pick up someone, or whatever. Not only do you and I forget, but the other guy forgets too. Remember he or she is just like you.
