The parents of Jesus did as the Law said they should do with Jesus at Jerusalem, and when they returned home, He lived an ordinary life,

So when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own city, Nazareth. And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him (Luke 2.39–40). 

From an infant to a man, He grew in all things in which we should grow, in spirit, in wisdom, and the grace of God filled His life.
